Burns

-Skin is red
-There are no blisters resent

One day while we were getting ready for the day, Ryton reached over a hot curling iron and received a 2nd degree burn on his arm. Unfortunately, we didn't start photographing his burn until day six. We didn't realize what a great real life learning experience we were missing! Thanks, Ryton!
The amazing process of skin grafting
For those who receive deep burns, there's the miracle of skin grafting. It is amazing that our bodies will take a graft, accept it, and grow new tissue because it! Here are two PowerPoint videos from our report that will show you the process. All images are from Dr. Thomas Mcclellan"s you tube video of a live skin graft unless otherwise noted. Please note: some images are graphic.
Wow! Now that's amazing!
